NCLEX for RNs

Introduction

For IQNMs who fulfil AHPRA registration criteria, the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) moved to an Outcomes-Based Assessment (OBA) in March 2020. The bridging programme has been replaced with Outcomes-Based Assessment under this new system (OBA).

The Institute of Health & Management (IHM) has created the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RNs) course to assist nurses in preparation for the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) test as part of Outcomes-Based Assessment (OBA) in Australia.

NCLEX for RNs is a course that develops a candidate’s professional knowledge and prepares them for the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) test that is part of Australia’s Outcomes-Based Assessment (OBA).

* This course does not lead to direct registration as a Nurse or Midwife in Australia. NCLEX for RNs is a preparatory course which enhances the candidate’s professional knowledge and helps them to prepare for the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) exam as a part of the Outcomes Based Assessment (OBA) in Australia.

** this course was previously called NCAP-OBA part 1
